Media & Entertainment

Our work in building out the resources per industry are just getting started. We’d love your help in building out resources tailored to each industry.

Key Facts FROM NBC News

  • The Center for Talent Innovation polled 3,213 college-educated men and women working white-collared jobs in eight different industries. They found that harassment and discrimination was highest among women in media and entertainment.

  • Nearly 41 percent of women in media and entertainment said they received unwelcome sexual advances or been exposed to inappropriate behavior at work.

  • The study found that harassers are usually managers and supervisors and are largely men.

  • Women of color were again found to be more vulnerable to harassment and discrimination.
